The west Bengal board of primary education also known as WBBPE was established in 1990 to ensure proper growth and development in the field of education at the primary level. Recently a notification was released by the WBBPE on 26 September for the west Bengal teacher examination 2022 (WBTET 2022). This notification has announced 11000 plus vacancies for teachers of primary level all across west Bengal. This examination will be conducted on 11 December 2022 in the state. All those candidates who have applied for the west Bengal teacher eligibility test examination 2022, can check and download their admit card, also the documents required at the time of inspection, days and dates etc.

West Bengal teacher eligibility test examination 2022 will be held on 11 December 2022. WBTET Exam 2022 will consist of 2 papers i.e Paper 1 which will be for all those candidates who have applied for primary level teachers for class 1st to 5th and paper 2 will be for all those candidates who have applied for classes 6th to 8th. The exam will be of 150 questions and the candidate has to complete it in 150 mins. 1 mark will be given for each question answered correctly and there is no negative marking. The minimum qualifying mark for the general category candidates is 60% whereas for the reserved category candidates it is 55.
