The Rajasthan government has decided to increase the scholarship amount for the Sainik School children’s in the year 2023. On 23 November the Rajasthan government has taken a decision to make a change in the Sainik school children’s scholarship. Rajasthan government gives the scholarship amount 10000 to 25000 but from today the scholarship given to the students is 15000 to 37500. This scholarship is given only to the Chittorgarh and Jhunjhunu Sainik schools.
Sainik School Scholarship Fees Amount Increases in Rajasthan
The chief minister of Rajasthan Mr. Ashok Gehlot has made this decision to give help in students’ further studies. The current family income limit of students eligible for a three-fourths scholarship has been revised from Rs 1.2 to 1.8 lakh per annum to Rs 3 to 5 lakh per annum. Now the tuition fee in the form of a three-fourth scholarship, the amount of scholarship will be Rs 30,000 instead of Rs 20,000. According to the proposal, the current family income limit for Sainik School students eligible for half the scholarship has been increased from Rs 1.8 to 2.4 lakh to Rs 5 to 7.5 lakh, for which the scholarship amount of Rs 15,000 payable as tuition fee has also been increased to Rs 20,000.
