• After implementing this scheme, shepherd communities will develop and along with this, the shepherd will get financial support from the Andhra Pradesh State Government.
• The benefit of this scheme will be in the purchase of sheep to the shepherds; by this, the beneficiary shepherd will be able to buy 20 sheep.
• The shepherds will receive a subsidy on the loan. The beneficiary will get 30% grant on the loan amount of 1.5 lakh rupees, which will help the shepherds to reduce the debt burden.
• Through this YSR Scheme, shepherds will be able to get benefits for four years.
• According to the report of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the benefit of this scheme will be received by the shepherds of 50,000.
• In this scheme, the government has decided to set a total budget of 200 crores rupees. The funds received through this scheme will be transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account.

• Candidates who have Andhra Pradesh State citizenship then he can apply for this scheme.
• The applicant requires belonging to the BPL Category or poverty line Category.
