Odisha Prerana Scholarship Programme has been an initiative of the Odisha Government. Odisha Prerana Scholarship has been inaugurated in order to support the Post Matric Students of Odisha who belongs to SC/ST/OBC/General/Minority and have weaker economical status. What are the eligibility criteria for Prerana Scholarship Odisha?
The Odisha Prerana Scholarship has been inaugurated for students who belong to Odisha State. Students from a backwards society and economically weaker status can only apply for scholarships. The student who is applying for the scholarship must have at least 50% or above marks in the previous exam. The annual income is the basis of the category they fall in. The list of the category on the basis of annual income is mentioned below:
- For SC/ST students the family annual income should not be more than RS. 2,50,000.
- For OBC/SEBC students the annual income of the family should be less than 1,50,000.
- For EBC Students, the family income should not be more than 1,00,000 per year.
