Wellz recently, the court of varanasi gave the order to the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) to conduct a survey along with a video and they were given a last date which is may 17 to submit their report. Though the survey was very challenging as all the muslims were in opposition of the survey, they blocked the entrance of the mosque, still the ASI team managed to conduct the survey as ordered. On day 1 almost half of the survey was conducted along with the video recording. And then on day 2nd of the survey some residue of the hindu temple which was teared down were eyecatched.

And during that the remains which were found, after the evaluation the petitioner from the hindu side claims it to be the shivling which was estimated around 12 ft by 8 inches in diameter. Whereas the mosque management committee desperately exchanged their views regarding the shivling stating it to be the part of the water fountain appliance at the wazukhana. After this discovery the court issued the notice to seize the area and restricted the entry of people. And the mosque committee said that they were not given a chance to present their views before sealing the area. Now, this case had been forwarded to the supreme court against the video survey ordered by the varanasi court and today the supreme court is scheduled of the hearing of the respective case.
